Learn Spanish in Playa del Carmen

The Language School

Solexico Playa del Carmen, located just six blocks from the white sand beaches, is designed specifically for our programs in the typical Caribbean style.

This open architecture creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that encourages intensive learning. Due to the area’s year-round temperate climate, classes take place under thatched roof learning areas surrounded by tropical gardens.

In addition to our excellent programs, beautiful setting and professional staff, Soléxico offers a library stocked with books on grammar, the Mayan culture, religion and travel in Mexico, and many other publications.

The open aired and air conditioned conference rooms are ideal for guitar and salsa classes, and our weekly gatherings. Soléxico also has a cafeteria, volleyball court and garden areas for students to relax during breaks or after a day of classes.

The Spanish Courses

Courses begin each Monday year-round and consist of sessions of 50 minutes with breaks in between.

Regular Spanish Program 25: 25 lessons per week

Courses are held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and are composed of 3 lessons of conversational grammar and 2 lessons of practical conversation and/or lectures.

This program consists of classes with a maximum of 5 students per teacher.

Regular Spanish Program 15: 15 lessons per week

Courses are held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and are composed of 3 lessons of conversational grammar.

This program consists of classes with a maximum of 5 students per teacher.

Individual Spanish Program 25: 15 individual + 10 group lessons per week

This is an accelerated, personalized program that consists of 3 lessons of individual instruction and 2 hours of conversation and lectures in groups with no more than 5 students per teacher.

The individual instruction is offered in the afternoon.

Executive Spanish Program 40: 25 group + 15 individual lessons per week

Students in the executive program receive 3 hours of intensive, 1 on 1 instruction in addition to the 5 hours course of our Regular Program.

Professional Spanish Programs 25: 15 General Spanish group + 10 professional field individual lessons per week

Courses are held from 9am to 2pm from Monday through Friday.
It is possible to add 1 individual lesson per day to any of these programs. These special programs were designed for those who interact with Spanish speakers in their professional fields.

Educators of Spanish as a Second Language Program 25: 10 Group + 15 Spanish Educators individual lessons per week

This program combines a general Spanish conversation program in groups of no more than 5 students with 15 individual lessons for Educators of Spanish as a Second Language and is held from 12:20 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Private Spanish Lessons
Private lessons are available in the afternoons at an extra cost.
