The Italian Courses

General Italian

Standard Italian Language Course

20 lessons per week.

Work is in a small group and covers all aspects of the language with a particular emphasis on developing communicative skills in speaking and writing. Each group is taught by two teachers a day in order to ensure more varied and stimulating instruction. As no translation is used in the classroom you will be quickly able to understand and express yourself in Italian. Each level can be completed in 4 weeks. At the end of each course after successful completion of a test you can progress to the next level.

Intensive Italian Language Course

30 lessons per week.

Super-Intensive Italian

20 group lessons + 10 individual lessons per week.

Suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well-rounded insight into the language and country. This course comprises 20 group lessons per week as well as 10 individual lessons.

Semi-Intensive Italian

10 lessons per week.

Students can choose to attend either the grammar session or the conversation session.

Twice-a-Week Italian Course

4 evening lessons per week.

It is designed for people who are interested in non-intensive courses or have little time at their disposal for working or study reasons.

One-to-One Italian

20, 30 or 40 individual lessons per week.

Participants will be working with two or more teachers, each with a special programme suited to the participant’s needs. Particularly suited to professionals and executives, this course is tailored to meet the needs of the participants with special requirements in specific language areas.

Special Italian Courses

Business Italian, One-to-One Course

10, 20 or 30 lessons per week.

This course is designed for professionals in commercial and economic fields. Therefore, emphasis is placed on learning a specialized vocabulary and developing oral and written skills related to business communication. The course will handle topics such as administration, finance, banking and stock exchange system, import/export and business terminology, marketing and communication, Italy's current economic situation.

Preparatory for University

20 lessons per week.

The course curriculum is tailored to the fields the students plan to study at the University and to the exams they need to take to be admitted to a particular department. Emphasis is therefore on the preparation in those subjects required by the departments that apply selective entry. We prepare students for the Entrance Examination in Architecture and Medicine.

Preparatory for Fashion & Design Schools

20 lessons per week.

The main aim of the course is to adequately prepare students who will attend fashion or design schools after completion of their Italian language studies. The course provides participants with solid language and vocabulary knowledge in the fashion and design field. The course will give an insight in the sociological and historical aspects of the industry.
