The English CoursesPrivate English TuitionPrivate lessons consist of the teacher and student only. The course content can be tailored to the needs of the student. This is a wonderful opportunity for highly motivated students to concentrate on the skills they need most. Course is subject to availability at the school.
Intensive EnglishThis course starts every Monday and caters for students from beginner to advanced level. This course is for students with an interest in improving their English in a wider, general context, whether it is for travel, friendship or their career. The course is divided into morning and afternoon components, making it possible for students to study full-time and take electives. Regular testing is done to monitor the students’ performance and give feedback.
TOEFL Exam coursesTOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language. Many universities and institutions around the world use TOEFL scores as a condition of entry, especially in the USA and Canada.
Holiday Course English ProgramsfStudents can have the opportunity to combine an English language course with a sightseeing or adventure holiday! Holiday programs can be designed to focus on English and/or recreational activities, can be combined with homestay and a 24 hour emergency support service.
Volunteer ProgramThis is the best program for people who think that just studying in school is not enough! You can use your free time after school to volunteer 2 or 3 days a week. This program gives you a wide view of international culture and high motivation to study English! NPO (Non-Profit Organization) Most of our volunteer groups work with NPO's that are located within walking distance or 1 hour by public transportation, at most. There are a variety of groups, but remember these are volunteer only. Participants will not receive money for their work.
Internship ProgramHaving internship experience in the U.S. will give you more confidence in the work environment. Not only will you improve your English but will also gain valuable work experience. GEOS coordinates with an affiliated partner company to offer two types of internships: F-1 internship and J-1 internship. Both internship programs have positions available in a variety of industries such as: publishing, manufacturing, trade, retail, IT, and etc.

Alternative AccommodationAlthough GEOS does not really recommend alternative accommodation we understand that for some students it is the best option. This is why all schools are able to help in finding alternative accommodation i.e. backpackers, flat mates etc. Schools will always have listings of shared accommodation arrangements and the friendly staff is always there to help any student who may have an enquiry.
