French Courses for Seniors in France
If you want to learn French in France and are over 50 years old, AEI Study Abroad Agency offers free counseling and placement services for French programs adapted for you in language schools! Contact us to know the costs of the programs and to receive our free counseling service. There are opportunities for 50+ French programs in the following cities in France: Paris, Antibes. French Courses for Seniors in Paris with LSILSI welcomes mature students of all ages who are ‘young at heart’ on all our courses throughout the year. In addition LSI Paris can organize social activities to suit the more mature student’s interests. - Lessons : 9:00am – 12:40pm, in a class of international students.
- Afternoon activity – accompanied by teacher 2:00pm
- 2 week courses, with 3 activities per week.
- Homestay or Hotel accommodation.
- No minimum number required.
French Courses for Adults 50+ in Antibes, Cote d'Azur with CIAA specially designed language course for students aged 50 and over who wish to improve their French whilst exploring the arts, culture, cuisine and scenery of the Côte d’Azur.
Course Dates:
3 sessions lasting 2 weeks*:
- Winter: 24th January - 6th February - Spring: 9th May - 22nd May - Autumn: 24th October - 6th November
*These sessions are subject to a minimum of 6 students booking. The course availability will be confirmed 4 weeks before arrival.
Course Description:
Standard Course :20 lessons per week Monday to Friday: 8:45 – 12:00 (max. 12 students)* Required language level: Level A2 (Elementary: students with little knowledge of French)
*Closed or international groups depending on the number of students.
o No lessons on the first Monday of your stay. Welcome meeting and city visit in the morning. o A written and oral French test at 1:30 will place you in the group suited to your level. o No lessons on public holidays o 1 lesson = 45 minutes
Accommodation :
Our high standard studios for 1 or 2 people with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchenette, television, bathroom, toilet and terrace.
Activities:
The activities schedule includes:
* 4 half days of activities or visits per week (visits to the Picasso Museum, Saint-Paul de Vence, Cannes, wine tasting, a Provencal cooking lesson etc.) * 1 full day outing at the weekend (Visit to Nice or snowshoe trekking in Valberg) * 1 evening per week (theatre and ‘aperitif’ evening).
