Programa de Voluntariado con Educacentre en San Petersburgo

Russia is one of the most multifaceted countries of the world. In many ways, the country is still developing and as a result there are many opportunities for volunteers who wish to improve the lives of some of the less fortunate.

St Petersburg's imperial heritage and turbulent past have saturated the city with culture and history. Hence, opportunities to preserve and advance her cultural status are plentiful.

A largely undiscovered treasure, Russia holds much in store for those wishing to spend their time volunteering.

The Volunteer programme includes:

    *A minimum 4 week Intensive Russian course (30 lessons per week)
    *A minimum 4 week Volunteer Programme

Total length of the programme: A minimum of 8 weeks

Both the length of study and the Volunteer Programme hold the possibility for extension (up to a maximum of 48 weeks total stay in Russia).

Application Requirements

Minimum Age: 18 years

Language Requirements:

    *Moderate level of English
    *At least Upper Elementary level of Russian after completing the Russian course at EducaCentre

Applicants should send:

    *An up-to-date copy of their CV
    *A letter of motivation, mentioning the desired field of volunteering.
    *Police check and general medical check (only for those wishing to work with people)
