La Escuela de Inglés

LTC International College es un colegio reconocido por el British Council. Está situado en la antigua residencia del duque de Devonshire, un elegante edificio del siglo XVII que cuenta con su propio parque y a tan solo 20 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad.

Curso Inglés General

20 Lessons/ 15 hours of study per week or 28 Lessons/ 21 hours of study per week

During the course you will develop all four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Both grammar and vocabulary are also important components of the lessons.

Lots of speaking practice is built into the lessons and your pronunciation will be improved with lessons every week in our language laboratory.

Regular revision tests are given and homework is given every day.

You will have a tutorial at the start of your programme to help assess your aims and set some targets for improving your English. You will then have other tutorials during the programme to look at your progress and give you advice on how to keep improving your English. Students who are studying for more than 4 weeks will have regular progress tutorials.

The tutorial process also ensures students are moved up to the next level as soon as they are ready.

There is the possibility to take IELTS, KET, PET, FCE, CAE or BEC exams (we can also offer the TOEIC or TOEFL exams by special arrangement) and to transfer to an exam preparation programme if your English is the correct level and we have spaces in the examination classes.

Curso Inglés General con Preparación al Examen IELTS

The General English + IELTS Examination Preparation course runs all year.
You study General English to improve your general language level in the mornings, and do IELTS examination preparation in the afternoons.
Flexible enrolments – you can start any week and you can decide how many weeks you want to study.
Minimum age: 16.  Most students are age 18-28.

Curso Inglés de Verano durante las Tardes

The Summer Afternoon course runs from 6th July to 14th August.
You study 20 lessons in the afternoon.
Flexible enrolments – you can start any Monday and you can decide how many weeks you want to study.
Minimum age: 16.  Most students are age 18-25.

Curso Inglés Privado

Any time of year.
You can decide how many lessons you would like to study (but please note: if you need a visa to enter the UK, you must study at least 20 lessons per week).
Flexible enrolments – you can start any Monday and you can decide how many weeks you want to study.
Minimum age: 16.

Curso Inglés para Mayores de 50 años de Edad

For mature people (age 50+) who enjoy learning languages and want to visit new places and learn about the history and culture of England with like-minded people.
20 lessons of English per week in the morning (15 hours from 09.00-12.45; all lessons are 45 minutes). The emphasis is on learning useful & relevant language with the focus on speaking and understanding
Activities and Excursions every weekday afternoon except for Fridays which are free for optional trips or shopping
One full-day excursion per week: transport and entrance fees included. One of the excursions will be to London
Learning about East Sussex and English History. There will be opportunities for participants to benefit from the rich history of Compton Park , the Grade One listed building where LTC International College is housed, as well as to learn more about Sussex and English history.

Cursos Inglés para Jóvenes de 10 a 16 años

    * Curso de vacaciones para Jóvenes. (Junio - Agosto). Clases durante las mañanas, actividades sociales durante las tardes. Excursión de día completo los sábados.

Opciones de Alojamiento

Para los estudiantes adultos, ofrecemos alojamiento con agradables y acogedoras familias, que son inspeccionadas por el colegio de manera regular para asegurar un lugar cómodo y apropiado para el estudiante. Todas las familias viven a una distancia del colegio que se puede recorrer andando.

Nuestro colegio cuenta con una parte residencial con dormitorios para los estudiantes de entre 10 y 16 anos. Los estudiantes mayores de 13 años pueden optar por alojarse con familias si así lo desean.
